The refit team at Meercat Boats in Southampton waved farewell to the Meercat MRV, “Tedworth” as she left the yard, following her 5-year survey and refurbishment.
Returning to continue her dive support vessel (DSV) operations at the Portsmouth Naval Base, UK, Tedworth was purchased by her current owner, BAE Systems, as a bespoke new build Meercat DSV in 2015.
Tedworth’s three-week refit incorporated a full superstructure blast, clean, repair and repaint, electrical checks and enhancements, together with upgraded instrumentation.
